Have you got the chance to drive around and get a feel of what is different / changed?

What you're asking about has nothing to do with the OFT beta test ROMs my friend. Best not to clutter this thread further.

LOL. Small so as not to clutter.

Thanks to Shiv for the hard work he does.

It seems the cam timing has been changed to reduce 'induction noise'. I'm assuming it's the vibration sound when the cams are fully advanced at the mid low range. I don't know about you guys, but if this means that there is a penalty in power output and no benefit besides noise reduction at that range... I no likey.

I'm going to assume it doesn't since Shiv posted earlier the 1.6 made 5-6whp more than the 1.59 stage 1 maps.

That's an impressive gain.

So I just reflashed the STG 1, 1.60 beta map and took a log. Didn't notice any reduction in induction noise. Still kicks in at around 4000rpm with the noise and all. I did notice that the fuel correction is much less than some of the previous revisions. Also had the IAM get dialed back by .02 while wide open on my last pull. Never seen that happen before. Might be an anomaly...

You should read the email I sent you carefully.
