DIY RPF1 Center Cap

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum, but I figured putting this in here it would get seen more by people with RPF1's

So.... The Enkei caps for these wheels are way over priced, and well... ugly. As it turns out Honda Odyssey center caps fit great.

I scored some on ebay for $18, they needed some filling on a few chips but I jb welded the chips then sanded them down, then coated them in a few layers of hammered gunmetal. I also ordered some trd brake caliper vinyls stickers from ebay and stuck them on, end result is this:

Much better solution to the home depot caps in my opinion. They've been on the car for 1200 miles now and are staying put! Just figured I'd share with you guys

pretty cool find. it does look better than the original rpf1 caps. i suggest smoothing out that surface though.

I had picked up some electrical caps and plastidipped black for my black rpf1, came out great for <$10 total.

I used a hammered paint knowing I'd get the ripples, I like the look

Do you have pictures? I heard of doing something like this with some sort of Home Depot electrical break-away box thingies or something; good cheap solution.

Just to note those conduit caps don't click in very securely though, I did try one previously and didn't like it. These Honda ones are VERY secure, really hard to get off by hand, it's quicker to take the wheel off and pop it off that way.

here's a whole car view with the honda caps, iPhone pic I apologize:
