So few to none run it?

Or at least no one talks about it. That's nitrous oxide systems....

NOS is great. You have to make sure you don't hit it too soon though, or Johnny Tran will beat you and take your car.

Haha typical response.

They make kits for it but a lot of tracks no longer allow it because people keep burning car to the ground or blowing them up shutting the track down while they clean up someone's fresh oil change. Also most states it is illegal to have it on a public road. It's fun but anymore you are pretty limited with what you can do with it because of rules and legislation.

I know they make kits for it. I'm wondering who has been successfully running it and to see some dyno sheets...you know catless headers are also illegal for use on public streets.

Not saying I'm going to run a n20 setup just wondering who if any one has....

The only one I know of was the test fit car for n/x and it added about 75whp to the car on a one bottle plate setup. The fogger was adding between 35 and 50whp. No idea where the dyno sheets are they did this well over a year ago.

Nitrous is like a hot girl with stds. You want to hit it, but are afraid of the consequences.

Why is everyone so afraid of nitrous?! Honestly if I had a secondary output on ecutek I would run a very small jet right before my intercooler to cool my charge temps. But I would only want to do it via Ecu controlled.

its not fear for me. its inconvenience and extra weight/clutter.

Just a hassle personally. Id rather just invest in more power thats available all the time.

One dude came on here proclaiming the greatness of NOS. Thread didn't get too far before his engine exploded. I think it was with a 100 shot. That may have scared everyone a bit.

Its cause he fried his clutch and had no proper failsafe for it to stop spraying

That is pretty common when you are using a kit not designed for your car. The shot system is a great way make sure your not over doing it. Most of the issues I have seen come from people using cheap ebay crap.
