LF Good body parts shop FL Panhandle
I need a good body parts shop who will install aftermark parts. Such as; Front Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Spats, Diffuser and Spoiler. All items are CF and I do NOT do body work lol.. Looking for one around the fort walton beach area.. or pensacola..
|
It isn't really body work if you aren't getting an all out wide body kit. Most are just a few screws and tape.
|
Yep, I wouldn't call any of that body work unless you are wanting to get them paint matched. My favorite body shop in the area is West Florida Paint and Body but they are in Pcola. Those items should all be able to be installed in a driveway on jackstands.
|
I guess i consider it body work cause i gatta drill into the body panels..

That makes sense, and i want to install these myself.. its just i cant ( overseas ) and ill only have 7 days ( if im lucky ) to install: Rims, Coils, LCAs, front lip, side skirt, rear spat, rear diffuser, spoiler, trunk garnish, fender garnish, black buttons for interior and headers. Then get it aligned, tuned and oil changed.
|
I was never arguing a thing, but whatever.
That stuff can all be done in a day actually. A body shop will keep the car for days. It's even quicker if you do it all together. You can just complete the oil change and alignment the following day. Edit: Springs or Coilovers? |
Coilovers. got some k-sport kontrol pros.
|
I guess your right if i jack it up and have it totally sitting on jack stands i can pretty much do 75% of that at once.

jack up the car remove wheels break two bolts on each front, three for the top hat replace coilover There is your front swap. The rear is almost the same. two top bolts The rear LCA's are three bolts. Done. Beer Alignment the next day. New wheels go on when you are read to drop the car again. I have not done a header swap yet, but I have removed all the under body panels. It take all of 10-15min to remove what is necessary. The header has 3 bolts on each cylinder bank and two for the overpipe. Those will probably take a bit of force, but nothing too serious (I think). While the car is in the air, put on your diffuser and front lip. Depending on which kit you get, the sides may not need any holes drilled. Most of the "fitted/wrap around" kits should need any drilling. The center console is 4-6 bolts that are easy to get to. The fender garnish pops right off. I've never touched the trunk garnish, but that shouldn't be much different maybe a screw or two. Nearly all of the trunk lip spoilers use double sided tape. |

Go to the hobby shop on base and use a lift. It'll cut your work time in half. There's one on Eglin and one on Hurlburt. |
