Looking to drive a '15 WRX

Preferably a CVT version. in the Olympia/Lacey/Tacoma area Washington.

My wife is up next for a new ride. We need a dog and trip rig with attitude. Lease over in December. So we are looking now.

Not willing to spend STI money on an auto, Looking at the WRX Limited CVT.
Dealer supply is so limited figured I'd see if the grapevine knows of one in the area.

Appreciate any help!

You might want to try the NASIOC forum. Idk if many people here have both.

There's a WRX here in McMinnville, not sure what the tranny type or trim level is though. But is definitely a WRX and not an STI.

That's gonna be tough. I work at a dealer and all Wrx units are all presold

Believe me I know. Thats why I'm thinking if I can track down an owner that is also a member here, I have a better shot at driving one than scheduling a test drive that never happens.

I had a chance to drive it and quite honestly it's surprisingly good

I believe it. I'm not a snob. I figure even though it will be a auto, if I keep her convinced I end up with both, BRZ is mine, she will never drive it, hates it as a matter of fact. When we want to go to Crystal or Stevens to snowboard or kayak we'll take the awd WRX.

If you make your way up to Portland. There's a dealer here with one in the show room.

I dont think said dealer will take the car out of showroom just to give a test drive. Normally cars in showroom are only taken out when customer signs purchase agreements and placed their downpayments.

That would make sense. I think that also depends on the model. Recently I had test drove a gen coupe r spec. They only had one and they took it out of the show room for me.

The one I'm talking about is just sitting on the lot, and not in the back anywhere but up front in what I can only assume is the place they put cars they want sold fast. I can ask them about it.

That's where I bought my BRZ. I've reached out to the guys up there. See if they have any inventory inbound. Being right next to JBLM they seem to get some small priority on units.
