can anyone lend me a fender roller and socket extensions/u-joint

hey I need to roll my rear fenders and am installing my headers and catback in the near future and need to borrow a fender roller for the first task and a 1/2 drive socket extension (preferably 10 inch or so) and a 1/2 drive u joint to reach the tough bolts. If anyone could help me out here I'd be eternally grateful. Thaaaanks

Most rear fender rolling I have seen uses a baseball bat.

Although his technique is not the best.
I have seen where you stick the bat in there and roll the car back & forth.
Based on where on the bat you roll, the fender gets pushed out and/or just the lip gets rolled.

That's how some of the pros and all of the guys in my race club do it.

I don't have enough room between the tire and fender to do that anyways. and I'd rather do it the proper way with a roller

Back in my GTO days we had a few fender rollers that we passed around via the forum. Folks just paid shipping to the next person and a nominal fee. It works great and we had hundreds of cars done I do believe.

I'd be down for that if someone was willing. Anyone have the wrench parts I could borrow for an hour or two?

I've got a roller, but I'm in Richmond.

hmm do you ever come to the nova area? If not would you be down to help me roll the rears if I came down to Richmond? Want to lower the rear a tad without it rubbing like crazy

OK - SORRY.... good enough for $50,000 & $100,000 vintage racecars, but not our $25k toys. Got it

& BTW he doesnt do it right in the example i posted.
If the BB rolls on the tire, it gives you perfect control as you move the car back & forth.

I'll tell the guy who builds RSRs for a living that he is "ghetto as fuck"

Using phone books or magazines is pretty ghetto. Baseball bat technique is tried and true. If you don't have enough room you could just jack the car up a bit til you can fit the bat.

I still stand by my statement that it's ghetto as fuck.
