2015 Series.Blue BRZ

Thought I would start a new thread for owners and future owners of the Series.Blue. The other 2015 threads were getting kind of big.

I have a VIN number now and am waiting somewhat patiently for a few more weeks until it is ready to pickup and drive 1200 miles home from CO, to WA.

Stopped by the local dealer to look over the 14's again and laughed at the $4995 "local market adjustment" on top of MSRP. Asked when they would be getting any Series.Blue models in and the sales guy asked "series what?" After explaining what they were he said no, we still have too many 13 & 14's to sell first.

It will be interesting to see the geographical spread of where all the Series.Blue's end up. And how many will be owned by ft86club forum members :)

Whoa, you got a VIN number already? Where and what was the estimated time of delivery?

fungizmos 06-20-2014 03:08 AM

Heuburger Motors in CO, Estimate is July 15, but was warned it may be later towards the end of the month when most are scheduled to arrive.

Serial number is in the high 600's. Does anybody know if the VIN series is US distribution only, or does this include all worldwide 2015's

Pretty sure the three of us all ordered from Heuberger up in CO. I got my VIN earlier this week and am also in the high 600's. I'll hopefully be picking mine up when I get back from vacation on the 20th. I opted for the WRB.

We have three coming to the dealership I work at. I just hate they painted the calipers instead of actually upgrading them. Shoulda left them alone IMHO.

Ours are also scheduled for mid July and have vins as well.

I ordered mine from Heuberger Auto early this month,
I also got VIN number high 600's.
ETA end of July.

I personally love the world rally blue color.

x1UP 06-20-2014 09:52 AM

Wait, but guys...I ordered from them too and I got no updates....=/.

Did you guys ask for an update or did January/Eric email you guys?

EDIT: The only update I got was when I emailed them and told me an arrival estimate of my car arriving, which January said it was around July 21st-25th

GreenMonster 06-20-2014 10:15 AM

I picked blue... no more white cars for me...

Which one?

I like the old (2013,2014) WRB better :)

Nice, I ordered a WRB one from Nikki too, and will be bringing it back to Seattle.

Where's yours going?

Did they email you about the VIN or did you have to contact them?

Everyone who wants a BRZ, already has one. I'm sure there is a handful waiting for the next generation, due out likely next year. I'm sure the sales will be low and be similar like the 10 series.

I don't really think that is true. And considering it is a "limited edition" you are right, sales will be like the 10 series in that every single one will be sold.

Your post has kind of a negative vibe but the manufacturer selling all their limited run cars seems positive...
