Can I just buy the driver side Winjet headlight?

I recently got hit and the driver side broke. Insurance company says since you can buy only one of the original ones from the dealer and they don't cover aftermarket parts they'll only pay for one. I have looked all the outlets that carry them and so far I haven't been able to locate one that would sell just the driver side.

What do I do?

Buy a new set. Sell the old passenger side.

I ran into this as well. I paid for one "Tom" light out of pocket. Joy of modding :(

Bring a hammer with you or keep it in your car.

If you see another FR-S with winjet headlight on the street, go and knock the passenger side headlight off.

And you will find a drive side winjet headlight on ebay soon.

and it should be local pickup acceptable, you save shipping fee!!!

BTW, when you go to pick up the headlight, make sure that you do not bring the hammer.

Truthfully, if you look at the positive side, you really don't want to replace just one anyway. Granted, right now sucks as they are new, but in a year or two when they start to fade, you'll be able to see the difference, even if it isn't much when you replace just one.

What someone above said. Even the OEM halogen headlights are expensive. The price of one of the OEM halogen headlights will almost cover a new set of Winjets. Ask them to just give you the money equal to the value of an OEM headlight and use that money to buy a brand new set of Winjets, and then sell the old Winjet passenger side that's still fine.
