TV Show--Drifting With The All Stars
 

It's on now on Velocity and one of the cars they're using is an FR-S. I think this is possibly a go kart track because I have never seen a narrower track in my life and all the signs painted on the wall say "TopKart". Repeats on Sunday 6/22 at 1:30 on Velocity. It is Grange Motor Park and website says it is for carts and motorcycles........no room to drift..........can't get enough speed TO drift. Pretty humorous. Maybe one of the pros can do better, but for guys that have never drifted, not happening........

I saw this when it was aired. Awesome seeing the FR-S out there.

Ehh... I disagree. You really don't need to have that much speed to drift. A kart track makes it a bit more technical to link, seeing how your line needs to be more precise to carry the momentum and stay in drift, but that track looks pretty easily manageable.

The instructors just didn't really know what they were doing when it came to that section.

Did that guy say he auto crosses a starion? Definitely can't tell by his driving skill. One handed driving like he's cruising for high school girls

Indeed. As Charles Barkley would say, that was turrble.

It was hilarious that the instructor had to physically grab the claimed autocrosser's hand to get him to actually use both hands to steer. The guy was trying to go through slaloms and do donuts with one hand. Wtf?

Also, why is this called "drifting with the all stars" while they are being timed driving through cone layouts with very little drifting involved? Makes no sense.

No allstars, no drifting, no production value, no skills. Unwatchable.
