Invidia front pipe issue

hello, i have recently installed an invidia front pipe with high flow cat. ive noticed that there is noticeable oil vapor comming out of my exhaust (rainbow gas).

is this because the cat needs to be broken in? thanks in advance.

While I can't answer your question, did you have any issues between the front pipe and catback? (also are you running a catback?). I know another forum member had problems with a leak between the frontpipe and catback.

itll be like that for your first couple days using it. there should have been a notice in your boxes saying the chemicals other stuff used when making the component will create a burning smell that will take a couple day to go away. Im assuming theyre making those vapors your talking about also i wouldnt worry bro.

itll stink for a day or three. even stainless can smoke a little with heat. I used to heat treat metal for a living.
