Is this true?

My dealer said that they aren't going to be making a 2015 brz or frs and that the 2014 will be the last year... Is this true, or has anyone else heard differently? Would would this mean to us that already have them? Higher resell value, hard to find parts?

Yes, completely true. There will be no more cars to buy after today.

What he said ^^

Nope. Your dealer is incorrect. See below.

I would like to see how the new Steel and Halo colors look. Or if they even change at all. Costs more for the new Halo color.

Dealer is incorrect. They actually stopped making them in 2013. What you see on the roads now are just an illusion.

The Matrix resets itself in 2015, and he is part of the resistance trying to hint you about the war against the machines. so the answer is yes, there will be no 2015 BRZs. I'll see you in Zion.

Guess I'll have to tell my dealer to cancel my deposit on my 2015 BRZ Series.Blue then!

ericmpena 06-16-2014 11:24 PM

Actually they're changing the name in 2015, which is why your dealership told you that.
The ancient FR-S/BRZ will no longer be available under those names. Toyota hasn't confirmed this yet but what is confirmed is that the name will start with either FA, NA, GT, or FT and end with 20 or 86. Another reliable source has said that if they can't decide by late 2014 then they will just use the word "Twin", which many fans have already speculated that "Twin" will be referring to Twin Turbo!
2015 will be the bestest/fastest year ever! Sell your car now before it's worth dirt in 2015!

I think you misunderstood. They're no longer making the 2014 BRZ. If you want one, don't wait too long, otherwise there might not be any left! (and you'll have to get the basically the same 2015 model instead)

Dealers will say anything to sell you a car. The 2013 models were turbo charged and AWD, depending on which dealer you asked.

My dealer told me the 2015 will be renamed "Triplet" for the fact that there are 3 versions of this car being sold by Toyota, Scion, and Subaru. And because they're putting on 2 turbos and 1 supercharger.

Lol. It's a good thing these dealerships are leaking all of this information to us! I think you should make a new thread titled "Is this True?" asking for more details about the Triplet.
