Remove Paddle Shifters

Hey guys just wondering can you remove the paddle shifters off the steering wheel?

JonAvalon 06-16-2014 11:47 AM

Yep you can, i haven't done it myself but doesn't seem difficult at all.

In this thread you can see where it points to unscrew them.

I've been thinking about relocating or adjusting the wiper stalk because it gets in my way when I'm using the paddles in a slide. How do the paddles get in your way? From getting a full grip on the wheel?

I have an 2016 automatic and I was wondering if there is anyway for me to replace the Steering wheel with an after market one and get rid off the paddles???

mclovin85 05-12-2017 01:41 PM

trade in for 6 speed :D

i just replaced the steering wheel with a mt steering wheel LOL

edit : the paddle shifters are connected to the steering wheel so you can easily replace it with a regular or aftermarket

It's like neutering your AT!

shiumai 05-13-2017 01:54 PM

I wouldn't have bought my AT without paddle shifters. That being said, he can still shift in Manual mode with the automatic transmission gear selector.
