South Africans - any of you know what bonnet this is?

Any of you know what bonnet it is - custom built or a brand one can purchase?

Looks hot! Not a South African ride thou, as it is Left hand drive. Could be a possible import as part of Top Gears showcase.

Spent the weekend in Dbn, drove around Moses Madiba and suncoast (meaning the TopGear street circuit, and hammered it :-D , was not with the Hachiroku thou :-( , drove a Polo GTi, was still really fun thou. I'm sure it would have been epic with an 86...

Any JHB members coming down for the Topgear show next weekend? Or have been before? Is it worth the travelling? Did they feature any 86's in prior years?

Last year there was a BRZ and an 86 in the main feature show by the TG guys.

It is quite entertaining - the street circuit is always a big hit, depending on where you're seated though.

The 86 that will be featured at the Top Gear show in Dbn is our very own @Ryan from this forum. You can check with him what bonnet that is. I think it's a Seibon bonnet.

He is supercharged and also has a serious sound install. Bonnet still to be added.

although the photo of his looks like an 86 whereas the one with the carbon bonnet looks like a BRZ.

The bonnet is Seibon TS style CF that has been sprayed white and vents left black. Be the final part to my build.

Have heard some bad things about their bonnets, after spraying what's the finish look like?

And, bugger about the baby blacks. Soundly beaten by your boys earlier in the comp but they should have won that semi. The ABs haven't been doing that well against England either - two wins but very close. Hopefully they'll put it together this weekend and deal to them.

Keep an eye on Malakai Fekitoa - hopefully he'll start. He looks like he's got a bright future.
