OFT glitching? can't flash

Not sure if I'm retarded butmy oft won't let me flash my og tune (or any for that matter). Says there's an error after the key on message. Anyone experience this? After I tried and failed I lost power steering and random lights like brake and abs were on, turned car off and on and it fixed. :iono:

I've had it for about 2k miles only but haven't flashed since I first got it.

I'll upload pics and video when I'm home. Phone is being difficult.

The only reasons for the OFT not being able to flash your ECU back to stock is if the OBD2 connector wasn't pushed in all the way or if the ignition power wasn't turned on fully (accessory power isn't enough). I suggest unplugging the OFT, turning off the ignition and starting again. I've seen cases were going straight from datalogging functions to flashing will cause a communication error since the ECU is still stuck in diagnostic/datalogging mode. Turn off the ignition and starting over will sort that out if that is the case.

Regards,
Shiv

Thanks for the quick response. I'll give it a shot when I get home in case.

Yup you were right. I pushed in the connections harder and flashed back to stock for dealer visit. Didn't realize how sensitive the obdii was. Thanks!

You'll have fun with it. After switching back to stock the difference is obvious lol. Can't wait to get my oil change over with and reflash.
