Don't know if it's been posted but pretty good comparison video.

Their "as tested" price on the BRZ seems high. They had to have included the cost of the mods, which doesn't really make that a fair comparison.

Also, one big mistake they're making is to call the WRX a sports car. It's not. It's a modified economy car, regardless of how fast it is.

The WRX is $2k more on average than the BRZ when comparably equipped. I don't understand why they keep saying the BRZ is more expensive. Yes, you can get a bare bones WRX for less than a BRZ, but a Premium BRZ is cheaper than a Premium WRX and same with a Limited. A WRX with push button start is $33k. A BRZ Limited with push button start is $28k.

They also did the tired Prius tires meme. They are touring summer tires. Not huge grip, but not what you'll find on a Toyota Prius Two trim.

Not sure if I misheard but I thought they said they branched the wrx away from the impreza line this gen. Wouldn't this mean a different chassis?

It's still an Impreza. They just took the Impreza name off the car. And even if they did build a new chassis, that wouldn't necessarily make it a sports car.

It all depends on where you live. If you live in the greatplains or other terrain with nothing but flat straight roads it makes little sense not to buy a WRX over a BRZ, it is a much more car and value for the dollar, AWD, turbo, fast.

But if you live in God's country with winding roads and beautiful twists turns plus foot hills its hard to beat a BRZ or FRS.

Might have more power and awd but imo the WRX is very unattractive compared to older versions. Like they said what happened to that concept it looked so mean. I would sacrifice the power all over again for the way better looking brz/frs....Good review/comparison i agree with pretty much both of their points and opinions

I was unable to pick one over the other :)

the wrx is a better dd, the brz is a better drivers car. If I could only have one car id take the wrx. Turbo and awd. But I bought the frs with the intent of modifying it and carving corners.

I just can't get over how each generation gets uglier. I'm sorry Subaru but you're f***king up.
