Longo Toyota Rant

So today I went to Longo Toyota to see if they can do anything about the window switch rattle. I met with the SA (after 20 minutes). Told me that they do not "fix" things, but they "repair" things (whut?) but he'll have a technician look at it and see if there's anything he can do about it.

They currently have a complimentary alignment check (I did mine recently), but I wanted them to check it since it's complimentary and they have an alignment machine that wraps around the tires and not mount on the rims. I saw the SA put in the order and typed it into the computer.

I told my SA "DO NOT WASH" and he wrote on the paper work "Do not wash". I just recently washed my car.

Fast forward two hours... SA was missing. Got myself some free donuts and coffee... Express gave me release papers and told me it was "normal" for the radio as they tested it on another FRS. Okay fine...whatever.

I walk to the tent to collect my FRS.... I'm looking through my paper work...

NO ALIGNMENT PRINT OUT. My complimentary alignment check was not done. I know they give out print outs because my friend got a print out and her alignment didn't need any adjustment.

When they pulled my car out it was wet.....The valet said this to me "Your car looked dusty so I ran it through the wash."

WHAT THE #%#*%!? (Flip a table) The paper work said "DO NOT WASH".

I understand it's a complimentary alignment check and I didn't pay for it, but I feel that it reflects the integrity of the dealership that they didn'tdo something that they offered to do. Also, it's pretty bad when their employees don't read instructions of "DO NOT WASH". Is it too much to ask for them to follow directions? :sigh:

TL;DR: Longo didn't do all the services as requested and their people do not read instructions.

EDIT:

Just checked my tire pressure, they set it to 32 PSI even though my paper work said 35 PSI. :sigh: I don't even.. I can't even... wow LOL

And people wonder why I never wanna take my car to the dealer.

So, how many(tiny) scratches did they put in the paint?

They repair but dont fix haha...

They are one of the largest Toyota dealerships in the US, complain to the service manager first. If he does not solve your problem, call the 1800 number and go from there... I am sorry to hear about your experience. Also if you use facebook, complain on their facebook page.

They seem to take customer satisfaction survey pretty seriously. I bet if you complain to the SA about it and if you sound pissed he/she will take extra measures to make sure you are happy. Or you can fill out the survey and rip them for their poor service. Too many complaints and those employees won't last long there.

Recently took my car to Longo too... When I went to get my car the SA told me they didn't have cabin filter in stock and will call me when they have it. 3 weeks later still no call. Wtf!

I have one more year of warranty. If nothing needs repaired via warranty in this time frame. I will not return for anything. Just make sure your paint isn't harmed and move on.
