Beatsonic Shark Fin Fitment Issues
 

Just bought a beatsonic sharkfin from someone who had an FRS. I didn't think there would be any issues with me having a BRZ but it wont fit overtop of my antenna. Am I doing something wrong or is it just really not going to fit.

There is a BRZ specific version of the beatsonic

^what he said. BRZ's have a bigger hub for the navi/satellite radio or whatever. Look for the BeatSonic FDA9 model

They must've changed the antennas for the 14 models. The Canadian models had a smaller antenna, same size as the FRS.

Canadian models have always had the same base as the FRS because there is no SAT Radio

That's what I thought as well. OP is from Toronto, maybe he purchased it from the states.

Sorry I meant to say for 2013. The 2014 Canadian BRZ got the same HU as the US had, so that included SAT radio and the larger base. So the OP needs the larger sized Beatsonic sharkfin.
