H&R Super Sport Spring

So before I get blasted on here for not wanting coilovers, I do not plan on tracking my car except maybe once or twice a year. This is my DD and I drove pretty normally except for the occasional sprint here and there. I want to just lower the car and maybe some time in the far future get a nice set of coilovers for more adjustability. So with that said does anyone have any experience with the H&R Super Sport springs? They are priced fairly for my budget and the lowering specs seem to be what I'm after. Are they reliable as I'm won't give out after a year? Tried the search option but couldn't find anything useful on the subject. Thanks guys.

Springs are just fine. I just installed the eibach Pro springs which lowers the car up to an inch. The car handles better in every way.

I have them on my car. I wish I had spent money elsewhere. I hope you have really smooth roads. Pretty harsh ride IMO.

Utah roads pretty much suck everywhere, would you recommend a different spring? These just seemed to offer the most drop that's what caught my eye.

If you want to go low but still have ride quality, save up the money and bite the bullet on some RSR Black-i coil overs. Otherwise, prepare for riding a pogo stick.

Do they come with new bump stops?

they do.. but for the money you spend on H&R, why not get Eibach pro or TRD springs? I sold my H&R because the harsh ride and having TRD springs now, very please to have them.

Honestly I haven't really looked into them a whole lot the H&R springs just offered the most drop from what I could gather.

i've only been running the H&R super sports for about a month. cosmetically they provide the perfect amount of drop IMO, but i will agree that the ride is definitely harsher than stock. you'll just have to get an "im not drunk, just avoiding potholes" sticker; it adds 5hp too! :bonk:

If you want the car to ride well and handle well, you don't want more than an inch drop on stock shocks (or any stock length shocks). There's very little bump travel at stock height, and the more you drop it the more you sacrifice bump travel.

In all honesty, even with an inch drop the car looks much lower than you would think.
