Scion Steering Wheel Airbag Badge Emblem dimensions?
What are its' dimensions? Preferably in millimeters; but, inches would be fine too.
Thanks  |
It isn't an elogated circle by the way. I do not have any numbers for you.

I'm doing research and asking around about different emblems. Looking for an emblem that will fit somewhat well Inside the oval indentation left over..instead of over the hole/border, like everyone else has already been doing successfully with a slightly bigger "T" emblem.
I just need dimensions is all. |
Well..I did a bit of searching...and 1 person posted his measurements:
45mm x 25mm Is this correct??? I may have found an oem emblem that has to be the closest in size that anyone has done yet, at 50mm x 35mm. Yes, the Toyota emblem is more of an elongated circle that the Scion emblem, which is a little pointier on the sides..but since this Toyota emblem is slightly bigger, it should cover any difference in oval's the curvature well. |
I'll get measurements when I go back down.
|
I got 58mm x 41mm.
|
Thanks man!
Hmmm....that's a lot different than the 45x25mm someone posted lol. ..but at least it sounds close to the emblem I found as well. |

Although I originally said 58mm, go with 59mm. It is really close.
|
Drats...I guess the emblem wont fit.. 9x6mm too small.

Anyone have a micrometer digital caliper that can take precise and exact measurements? I am in communication with an emblem maker, to make a nice Toyota "T" airbag emblem. W x H mm
....and, I also want to know the depth of the indentation left on the steering wheel, and/or the emblem's thickness (I want to design and have them made, that will be nicely flush to the airbag and close to as oem as possible) |
This is a project of personal (your) interest. You have to do your own "research". When I wanted to try something, I had to take apart my interior and learn everything on my own. Someone will eventually provide the required info, but when and how accurate will it be?
|
Ah I see.
