I know I already replied to this thread, but I see that it was deleted. Anyways, nice dog picture. Also, please remove the blue tape on the pedals before he drives it. Also that is a very dangerous cage design, and I hope he is wearing a helmet when he drives it on the street.

I know nothing about cages, can you explain how it's dangerous?

suaveflooder 06-09-2014 12:22 PM

I think I still prefer the origional kit, but this still looks pretty bad ass!!

Normally you want that dash/A pillar bar as close to the A pillar as possible, but because this is a "show" cage, it has that crazy bend to avoid having to cut the dash. That makes it closer to the driver where in an accident his body could come in contact with it and get further damaged. It should at a minimum have some SFI approved padding anywhere he can make contact with it.

vividracing 06-09-2014 02:20 PM

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Lawn_Mower 06-09-2014 02:38 PM

Crazy to see all of that work done on an automatic car.

That and also, (welded) cage needs fixed seats/harness to work as a system...clean build nevertheless.

"AWWW IT's AUTOMATIC...."

Jyn 06-09-2014 03:48 PM

Great work, but echo the comments of having a cage for a street car - not safe. Hopefully the customer realizes this sooner than later. Regardless, everything looks clean!

Grassroots_BRZ 06-09-2014 05:20 PM

Looks crazy.
