Finally got a Vin Midwest
 

Got my vin today. My salesman said mid June. Which sounds about right based on the first shipment eta's. It is a SSM limited manual. Going to highland park, il where there allocation was 3 for the year, I was order 1 of 3 last 6 digits 01265 of the vin

We are close to being chasis brothers 1240 here color and trim.

You were # 2 at Evanston right ? I don't remember Did they give you a date or a general time frame?

That would be me, I just got a call for my VIN and ETA, June 15.

My Ssm limited manual just came in at 4 pm today ready for me tomorrow. Just a heads up for anyone around the Chicago area .

So the VIN is incremental? Does 01265 mean the 1,265th BRZ, or did they cheat like a with a check # and start at 1000?

Not sure, but I picked up my SSM Limited 6MT in Redwood City, CA on 5/28 and my vin is 1278.

well then it is still possible since my car hit port 5/20 and prob came in on the west cost and took 3 weeks to get west. which is why you got yours so soon, how do you like the color

I love it, it wasn't my first choice (my original preorder was DGM), but it's grown on me a lot. I like the silver because it shows the lines so clearly, but it doesn't show dirt quite as bad. :P
