Do you all usually designate a camera car? Got to put these GoPros to use!

Nope, just bring what you got and record what you want. If some people want to coordinate cameras, y'all are welcome. I'll be bringing my cameras also.

Nice...but, that map was created in haste and some of the locations and side roads are there because google maps did not want me to use the ranch roads. Had to target some side roads off the ranch roads to pull the route off the major roads. This map was provided to show the general area of the run. Don't want to confuse anyone with color coded stretches that have no bearing on what we really will be doing. LOL. My apologies for not taking more time on that particular map link. For those of us that have been out there more than a dozen times or so...we don't need no stinkin' maps!!!

Just a heads up, looks like we will do a sisters run on June 14th if anyone is interested in a practice run!!! Participant list is on the SATX meet thread. Come join us for some fun.

trust me i would have absolutely no problem making the 6 and a half hour drive and spend the day cruising around. I'm ok with distance driving... but when i get back from this deployment i will be boosting my frs and will most likely still be in break in period and i wont be so confident driving so much in texas heat especially lol. looks like ill have to pass. unless my kit doesnt come in then ill make the trip na! lol will most likely have to pass :/

FRS_FIEND 06-05-2014 05:47 PM

Not sure if I'll be able to travel that far south. If anyone wants to have a DFW Summer Cruise up here let me know.

FWIW... I took my FRS out on it's first virgin "drive" right when it broke the 1k mile mark (literally 1050 miles by the time I got to the meet up spot in Austin). I met up with my lil' group of Miata friends and did the Lime Creek Run & then out to Marble Falls. It was an awesome way to get to know the car... YMMV, but you know, just sayin'....

All right everyone, @Extreme86 is being a go to guy for me to help plan this thing. He being my eyes down there and is helping address a few of the things I want to avoid that we struggled with last year.

Scavanger 06-06-2014 02:10 PM

So i tried to open up the map to see where the run would be, and the stupid gov computers wont allow it haha.. so where is this run at and what type of run is it?
