Not sure if it matters for the food thing but I'll be bringing my fiancee. Found a fellow BRZ owner in Tyler today, may get him to join if he can find this thread lol.

I attended last year, and would like to attend this year. Will be trying to get others to also join, so put me down for a +2 to be safe. Also, my first time using this thing, so, hello.

Understandable some ppl can't stay for a Sat. night meet but, might be a nice option for an evening photoshoot, etc. for those that do stay. Lots of food establishments in the immediate area to dine at, etc.

And really, this does not have to be a sanctioned 86 day "event" cause we are "all" just 86 enthusiasts; interested in getting together to have dinner somewhere at a nearby establishment and then socialize a bit in the parking lot before heading out!!! We'd pick a spot in the Forum once we have an idea of how many participants we might have Aug. 9th. Just an option to throw out there as a flash meet activity the SATX86 folks often do anyway!

This sounds good to me. I'm staying through Saturday and heading back on Sunday anyways. I changed my hotel so I'm just off of I10 on the northern side of San Antonio but I'm down for meeting up wherever. Just pick a place and I'll more than likely be there.

We should do something like pool in for a neat car part and have a raffle to see who wins it or something.. I have the chrome fender trim I could donate lol but it'd only work for premium BRZ drivers..

Maybe we could ask one of the vendors on here if they could donate something? Shift knob, crank pulley, gift card, ect.. And if so, we could put their name on the shirts or something?

Exactly...some of us have spent mucho $$$ with some of the outstanding vendors with a presence on ft86.com who support the 86. I imagine ppl hit them up all the time for stuff though. Hey, even if it's just token t-shirts / caps / koozies we'd give um credit for it and certainly drop their names on this thread and at the Meet. Would be nice if we had a substantial item though...maybe a cat back exhaust or something!!! Grimmspeed intake??? Vendors....PM Dustin to donate stuff for the 2nd Annual Texas 86 Day Meet/Cruise!!!! We'd be grateful and most thankful. In any event...we will have fun anyways!

OVR and me have pretty much decided on the tshirt design that he made. It's classic and easy to understand; we thinking either in black, white, or gray. We'll probably have a vote on the color.

I've sent out a few PM's to some of the vendors. Hopefully we'll get some responses! @fteightysix, @PERRIN_Chris, @GrimmSpeed @FT-86 SpeedFactory :D

Yeah that's what I suggested a few posts back. I think it's a good idea.
