Steering Rack Play
 

I recently noticed that my steering rack has some slight axial play when i push on my steering wheel axially. I feel a slight clunk. Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal?

Really doubt that this has anything to do with the steering rack itself.

Are you sure the telescoping lock is fully closed? Try opening and closing it again, just to make sure it's fully locked.
