Drifting on a Dry Lakebed [VIDEO]

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF8ORfZH9cE"]2013 Scion FR-S on 18" Avant Garde M310 / AG Wheels - YouTube[/ame]

DISCLAIMER: My cousin works at Berk Technology.

My buddy Sam Ip (http://www.samipmedia.com/) and I shot this video recently of my shenanigans in Hankook's FR-S. I did a photo shoot a couple years ago with this same car, but this time we were able to take it out onto a dry lakebed for some sideways action. I just wanted to share since the video came out so sick!

Don't judge me too harshly though! This was only my second time attempting to drift (if you don't count my months and months of Forza playing). My first time was also on the same lakebed in my Genesis (which you can see in my sig below).

:D

Do you have the raw footage without the music :)

:bellyroll: I knew someone would say this! Didn't think it would be so soon.

I believe the car had Berk's prototype exhaust at the time, and they didn't want any sound clips of it since it wasn't what they have for sale.

El Mirage Lakebed :thumbup:

For anyone thinking about going, just know you're coming home with a car caked in dust!

Nice video, looks like tons of fun. I actually kind of liked the music, at least it wasn't something horrible. I am a bit confused though. You got your site in your sig, you tag your buddy in the OP and you say that it's for Berk Technology, but the opening and ending label the video as being for AG?

Either way, I love those wheels. I like a lot of the wheels AG makes, but I don't really want to +1 my wheels. I wish they made more 17's.

Giving credit where credit is due! Being a photographer myself, I always appreciate it when people give me a shout out by posting their stuff. Plus what's the point of a sig if not for some shameless self promotion :).

I was gonna ask if that was El Mirage. haha. I took some pics of my car out there when i went to watch Land Speed racing. I need to get a cooler car than my stock FRS out there to shoot!

And better caked in dust than caked in salt like when I went to Bonneville (not in the FRS, it won't ever go there!)
