fake TRD wing-a-lings for $90. cool. anyone know if they clip in like stock or if they're an overlay?

I have them, but haven't installed them. They don't have clips; they tape in place once you remove the stock piece. They line up pretty well, but weren't perfect in my test-fit.

It's worth considering that due to the shape of this piece, having it painted was more costly than the price of the item. In retrospect, I wish I had purchased the TRD piece with the clips. My total cost between paint and parts was in the high $200s.

Does anyone have a garnish pic with the clips? I've been in the market for a month and only finding garnish with 3M tape.

I have the plastic TRD ones (was not going to pay the $$$ for the carbon fiber ones! LOL). Here's my thread on painting/installing them, which has the pictures:

I have painted TRD ones as well. I think it was something like $250 paint matched.

The clips and tape made it an easy install. I'm very happy with them

The clips would have been a godsend, but the Bayson ones don't have that. My tape job kind of sucks, but I'm working through it. Sorry for the pic delay, but between rain and work it's been hard. They look good, but for the price if paint, I wish I'd just bought TRD carbon fiber ones.

I applied the double side tape and stuck them onto my oem garnish. Haven't had any issues and they look pretty good (minus not having a trd logo.)

Also, in your opinion, can they be Plasti Dipped? Let's say in black color. I have hot lava and both inserts garnishes are broken or without GT86 logo, so I am thinking to dipped them and install directly on fenders.

I ordered set on eBay and want to share with you what is in the package.
Later I will update on fitment and paint.
