Took me a LOT longer to do my slammer. Getting that pin out for the reverse lockout was a PITA!

Thanks guys. I'm glad you're finding the channel useful :)

I'm learning just as much doing it all!

I'm glad you stressed the point about leaving the punch-key in and shifting to reverse before taking it out!

I made the mistake of not doing that and indeed the lockout dropped and it was MURDER to figure out how to maneuver it back!

Nice Vid, well done!

Haha yeah we learned that the hard way on a different car :P

I had to mutilate the stock plastic reverse lockout to get the damn pin off. Thank god it was plastic. And no damage was done to the interior. Just a bunch of plastic shavings everywhere.

Is there a vendor selling these two piece on here or do I have to order from raceseng?

The Sentinel 06-11-2014 10:03 PM

Sorry mate. I'm no sure as I'm in Australia. I got mine through Forged Performance Australia (the guys who own JET86).
Jarrett from @Raceseng is a member on here, maybe contact him for more info :)

The Sentinel 06-29-2014 09:44 AM

Yeah it's really easy once you've seen it done properly. :) The trick i to leave the pin in and put it in reverse.
