Helix Crystal Clear Sidemarkers

I ordered a pair of these sidemarkers from fteightysix with the "white" bulb option, but I can't find if they are 5000k or 6000k. Does anyone know or even better.. have a picture/video with them on.

these are plastic body parts, not lights, the lights go in them.

yup, you still have to put your own bulb in them. its just a replacement lens.

Sorry, I was not very clear. To be more exact, I ordered "white" bulbs with the sidemarkers from fteightysix and I was wondering if they are 5000k or 6000k. Also another question... I am pretty noob at DIY-ing so is changing bulbs difficult for these sidemarkers?

Not hard.. Dunno about color temp. Depends on the leds

Closer to 6500K as that's what all the cheap 5050 194 (T10) bulbs are. Seal the markers before you install them or they WILL leak.

Which are the ones in your sig? Guess I will have to buy new bulbs then. Trying to go for 5000k. Hmm leak? Seal with what?:bonk:

I have the Helix markers. All the suppliers will provide the same generic bulb unless they specify something special. Since my sig pic, I have swapped my original bulbs for The Retrofit Store's t10 flat bulb. They are $20 for the pair, super bright, and I would say right around 5000K.

As for sealing, just use some clear silicone around the edges.

I have those side-markers, purchased them from the same guys those LED bulbs crapped out on me in less than 3 days lol. I didnt care though cause i wanted to put regular Amber colored Bulbs for an even more japanese oem look.

Both of mine shorted too.
White is legal in the US... white/amber front, red/amber rear

There might be issues in Cali (as always), but as far as I'm aware, white is legal.
