full exhaust install help?
hey dude and lady dudes,
i already have a perrin catback on my vehicle, and recently my front pipe and over pipe came in the mail. perrin came with instructions for the over pipe, but the front pipe (berk) didnt. perrin says to torque the overpipe to the front pipe at 38ft-lb. does it matter if it is a stock or aftermarket pipe? sorry for the novice questions. better safe than sorry?? thanks for reading =] |

The quality of the gasket is harder to determine without seeing it. Thicker vs thinner isn't always a good guide, nor is metal vs fiber. But they're probably both quite fine, since they come from reputable sources. |
