I made a commercial for our cars!

So I finally made a commercial/promo type thing for my car for one of my classes and I uploaded the result! Hope you guys enjoy it! It's not perfect but it works for the class I'm in :)

Hey guys,

So I'm in a class that has a creative project component to it and I decided I would make some sort of fake commerical / promo type video for our cars. I have quite a few of my friends joining me in their FR-S's and we'll be heading to the mountains next weekend to film some stuff.

We have a few go-pro's and nikons, and canons so we're good on that end. What we're lacking is idea on what we should actually film. Filming a quick promo would be easy but the video needs to be at least 2 minutes long and maximum of 5.

If you guys have ideas, let me know! And of course I'll post the video here once it's eventually done!

You could do a pass the key type of commercial. Start off with you at location A, then you end up at location B where you pass the keys to the second person and so on. In each segment film them doing different things involving the car whether it be tearing it up on mountain passes or local driving to the grocery store from the inside cabin point of view. Then at the end you can be like "for the driver in all of us" or some crap. Make sure to do occasional shots showing off the interior and exterior body lines of the car!

Okay get your pencil and paper ready cause this is pure and unequaled BRILLIANCE!

You cut to a scene of you and your buds at a kegger with some HOT nekid chics (for you husker). Everyone is laughing and having a good time. You and your buddies are at your cars with solo cups in hand.

You go for a drink and then you grimace and with a bewildered look on your face you turn your solo cup upside down..... ITS EMPTY?!

You and your buddies go into emergency mode and in dukes of hazard fashion get into your twins.

It turns into a fast n furious style race down the mountain to the closest liquor store. Floor panels popping off and everything!

You get there first because your buddies were granny shifting and not double clutching like they should.

A victory smile is on your face as you pull into the parking lot of the liqour store. You drive forward to park your car and immediately stop as you notice a toyota camry in direct competition for a parking spot.

the scenery changes to an old west draw. A tumble weed passes between the vehicles. The next shot pans around your diffuser as you rev your engine and showcases your exhaust tips.

The shot after pans around the camry's bumper, emphasizing the "My grandaughter is adorable." bumper sticker.

Then you flash to an action scene of some hooning in your twin gymkhana style. Different angles and action shots showcasing nimble and surgery like handeling. After a few shots like this, we focus on the Camry who has just taken your spot while you were acting like an idiot in a parking lot.

Then we fade out to white letters that say: Because "Racecar".

Do a short documentary type. Start of with what Toyota's engineers and designers are inspired by when making the 86. How the 86 became one of tuners/drifters most preferred car. Then tell your own story, why you get the 86 and what the car is really all about. Top it off with some prediction of what the 86 may become... End it with some really nice drive down the mountains!

I'm not sure if you can fit all this into 5 minutes..
