Yes, I agree its nice to see you too, like a mirror image :D.

Not doing anything this year yet. May drop a small sub in the trunk to up the fun during my work commutes, but waiting for next spring to come to start with part mods. I'm still not certain how I want to touch the suspension, it feels damn good around town so far and since I don't participate in any motorsports yet, I see no reason to.
This year has been unusually spendy for our family already (paid off my wifes OSAP loan as she's done school and start work now, 2 new cars, overseas trips, gym classes and a lot of other fun stuff...), so we got to calm down for a little bit. I say winter time is time to work and make money, other seasons are for fun :D.

Christmas season. Have fun with the spending reductions! :bonk:

I never spent more than a few hundred bucks on Christmas, so that's ok.

The biggest hit we've taken this year was an unexpected situation during our trip this August. My wife has a perm resident card (as she awaits her application for citizenship), but left Canada without noticing that it has expired... She was unable to come back, we had a one spot transfer in Poland and she got taken off the flight there there. I obviously stayed with her (could go though), we had to fly back ($) to our other "home", go to Canadian embassy, get her temporary visa to come back to Canada, then buy tickets to Canada again ($$). So Christmas shopping vs this whole debacle is not a priority anymore... No Christmas shopping for us :D.

Does anyone want to meet up Friday and go for a cruise?

sal 09-26-2012 01:08 PM

I'm down!

Demandred7 09-26-2012 02:56 PM

Can't this week. I am on night shift.
:(

Harbinger of Darkness 09-26-2012 03:33 PM

I'd be down depending on time. Physical inventory count at work, but it's usually over by 7.

Xis86 09-26-2012 06:31 PM

I can wait till after 7, what about you Sal?

Did you order yours through Cambridge scion?

naking - I think I saw you last week: I was heading westbound on the 7/8 and I saw an ultramarine FRS heading towards Waterloo. Just after lunchtime I think?

Hi BreezinBy! It's good to see another female FRS enthusiast around. :)

Wasn't me! I do take that route home from work, but I don't remember getting off that early! haha

BreezinBy 09-26-2012 08:39 PM

Hi mountainside! Nice to meet you!
Xis86 Yes, Cambridge Scion.
Thorlius Hoping you get an update soon! Driving a 'Vette in the mean time can't be all that bad! :)

That's the problem. The 'vette is the trade-in. So to maintain value I haven't driven it other than to keep the brakes fresh. A few km's per week tops. It's essentially just sitting in my driveway costing me large bi-weekly payments and reminding me that I don't have my FR-S yet. :(

FBaxteR-S 09-26-2012 10:32 PM

I'd be down for Friday but only until 9:30 - 10. A cruise a little earlier around 7 or 7:30 would be best though with a little light left so people can fully admire our cars :)

Xis86 09-26-2012 10:58 PM

So how's meeting up at 7 at moose plaza again, then take off around 7:30-7:45..

Breezinby I also got my car from Cambridge scion, had great service from both of them.
Come out Friday to the meet, get to put faces to the names. II'm sure you can tag along for the cruise as a passenger in someone's frs.

Of course! See you on whatsapp. You should join the GTA FRS/BRZ Group chat!
