I suggest Guelph Pergola theatre with post movie beverages at shoeless joes accross the street

Rutter 09-27-2013 12:48 PM

just throwing this out there if anyone would be interested, but the galaxy theater in waterloo is playing rush with d-box.... why watch the cars when we can FELL THEM!!!!!! There are also quite a few places to eat in that area.

I'm down with whatever though.

Edit: Just looked, they have d-box times at 7:50 and 10:45

Yes to DBOX! Those seats are also reserveable. 7:50 with premeet at 5?

That works for me if everyone else is in, we could meet at the theater at 5 to get tix, then hit somewhere for food/drinks

We are good with either option and either time, but, we need to firm this up tonight so that we can make the necessary sitter arrangements. I'll be Regis Philbin for a moment................Is that our final answer?

ScottishJedi 09-27-2013 05:23 PM

Oh hellos yes to Dbox no Guelph doesn't have them, so 5pm pre-meet? Sat yes?

dpottruff 09-27-2013 06:17 PM

and im in for saturday definitely, wherever we go.

ScottishJedi 09-27-2013 09:28 PM

Dbox are motion seats dude for example when they pin the gas the seat will rock back....kinda like the old days of thunder movie ride at wonderland back in the day.

Are the dbox seats a gimmick, or do they actually make the movie better? I haven't experienced them. I think the last movie I saw was The Hobbit. What was that... a year ago?

I'm going to try to make it, but depends how things go in the morning.

If you tend to get motion sickness, then don't do it. I find it to actually draw you in but to be honest, I wouldn't pay the extra 8$ or whatever if I didn't have the scene points that cover the ticket regardless. Try it for yourself once and see if it makes a difference for you. Good luck in the morning!
