Clear bra
 

I got quoted 750 for a full clear bra on the entire hood. Is this too much?

You may not need to do the entire hood.

But for comparison:
I had a Clear Bra applied to my STI. It covers the whole front bumper, the first 18" of hood and fenders, both mirrors, and a thicker film over the headlights. It cost me about $800.

I have gotten a quote for doing basically the samw as above, except 24" of the hood for $599 using 3M products. I'd say the $700 price for the full hood is probably about right. I agree though, not sure the full hood needs it, although you may prefer it just to avoid a line that could show up if the car is dirty

I know when my uncle got his Lotus Elise just the bumper, half hood, fenders and mirros where 1.2K. Then the next day his wife (my aunt) didn't know what it was and peeled about an inch of it up on hood. :mad0259:
