Need more power vortech questions
Ok so I have the regular v3 tuner vortech kit running the 3.125 pulley at 11 psi. 295 whp on a mustang dyno. My questions is what are my options to making more power without installing a turbo or switching to e85 which we don't have in my area.

Without e85 or the use of some form of meth injection than not many. 295whp on a mustang dyno isn't too bad at all. Now I am assuming this as you have supporting mods as well as the tuner kit (exhaust, headers and so on)
|
You may not have E85 but what about race gas?
|
I also have the vortech and the 3.125 pulley, borla eq header and exhaust, with supporting mods for cooling. Use Sunoco 100 map 4, 50:50 with 100:93 map2, map 1 for 93. For the price (10.40 gal) you get from 30-50 whp, completely dependent on your tune/tuner. If use the 50:50 results are similar but cheaper.
So next step is over spinning with 100 and hope for the best (100whp more and happy engine) but be prepared for new engine with forget internals! If you don't have race gas in your area, over spinning on stoke internal would... Most likely... Well if you do it, tell me what happen, I may have an idea but no evidence :) |

The v2 have the same compressor as the v3... Change the internals of the tranny side of the sc for H/D. I maybe wrong but as far I know have the same ratio.
As for the oil feed part, it takes the contaminated engine oil (normal wear) to the pristine sc oil... And can't compare the monolec with any engine oil on the market... Custom twin charge! I also desire more boost from 2k, but and there is always a "butt" I buy a centrifugal sc. Was an early vortech adopter, no regrets as it meat the criteria I was looking... Maybe the Phantom is the easiest, economical way to do your custom set up. Just an idea, I'm not in that boat :) |

but you can spin it faster then the v3 |

What temps are you seen on the sc now? Same as engine oil. 210-240? |
Why not attach the sc to a small oil pump and separate oil cooler (also could be small).
