Should we argue some more about the LFA (I've got a new magazine with a comparo test of the LFA vs the new SLS AMG) in off-topic until Toyota baits us with another itty-bit of news?

Just gotta wait for the next crazy unsubstantiated rumor to come out of a Japanese auto magazine. It'll probably be something like "FT-86 to only come in purple color. But special purple paint formula being changed completely because too close to Barney's color, so car delayed until 2014." And once again all hell will break loose again :bellyroll:

But seriously, next major car show is in Paris in September. Hopefully the car makes an appearance there and we get some more bits of news from Toyota.

Right. Since the concept was made in ED2, Toyota should show it in Paris Auto Show. Close-to-production concept would be nice.

i just heard that toyota will be canceling the project and it will stay just a concept and never make it past development stage doe to lack of funds...

Hi guys, Well I've been told that they are just making thet lats evaluations about de engine, 'cuz they wanna fix the consume of gas. Nevertheless, I hope it to be produced soon, it would be sad that toyota canceled the project.

I heard the FT-86 is gong to be the next Supra.

Do you have any idea how much it will cost??,.. well if they produced it?? I've heard that would be around the 23000 or 26000 $us, Do you know something about this???
