2015 CDN BRZ Special Edition..

Shot an email off to my dealer today in regards to if there were any Special editions coming to Canada for 2015 today:

"
Hey Martin,

Yes there is special edition being released here I willtry and get you more info by tomorrow."

Not sure if I should hang onto the '13 or trade and get one with all the bits I want.. (if it comes with all the STi trim as the US blue comes with)

bro....youre going to lose like 5 digits for a body kit.

when we will ever get a turbo from factory, you will see everyone jump ship.

Dude unless you really dig the blue interior bits and rice color calipers, don't trade it in. Might as well just buy the JDM parts from Japan at this point.

I still can't believe SOA won't equip the car with even one handling performance part, just as retarded as their 2015 WRX STI Launch Edition. Shame.

4000 more than the base or sport tech (limited)?

Does anyone know how many will be for sale? 1000 like the series blue?

4000 more than base in USA. (I think sport tech is a waste also) I'd gladly spend more $$$ for more power/suspension upgrades. But I refuse to spend more for useless stuff. Jmho

I doubt there will be 1000 released in Canada. The FR-S 10 series has 250, and the Monogram had like 150/200. The Canada numbers were included in the total released so you may be looking at a percentage of the 1000 if it's the same series blue edition.

It depends person to person. The series blue is only $1800 USD more than the 2015 limited. The wheel alone are 1200+ and replica lip kits are ~400. I think for people that like the factory rice and are interested in buying cosmetic mods anyway it's probably worth it. Then there's the rarity factor as well.

Firstscion I actually just read on subarus web site the press release said there would be 1000 available for continental US. I hope that means they're not including canadian models in that figure.

Oh ok. But to my point, there will not be 1000 limited editions in Canada lol. Considering the posted sales numbers for BRZ in Canada for 2012, 2013, and 2014* (*Jan-April) respectively are at 504, 1119, and 305.

krayzie 06-01-2014 06:03 PM

There are 89 Subaru dealers listed on Subaru Canada's website. If they can sell 1000 BRZs a year, I would imagine maybe 100 Series.Blue cars (50 blue and 50 white)?
