Antelope Valley Meets/Info

Since I was getting off topic in the CA Spotting thread, I thought I'd start one dedicated to the AV, possible meets, etc. I live in Lancaster and work in Palmdale. I'm down in Valencia almost weekly and am open to meets down there. I also work at EAFB on occassion, so am open to meeting up there. I try to hit Willow Springs for a track day once a month and am always open to meeting up with folks there. I might even be able to arrange a discount if we get a group together. But if you don't want to run on the track, it's still fun to just go. $10 for the day. Full access to all the tracks. I'd also like to try and compile a list of 86 owners in the AV. Maybe we can just set up our own meet. I've seen quite a few up in the valley lately. Just respond to the post and I'll add you in to the list. AV Owners: 1. @diirk: Lancaster. SWP BRZ 6MT 2. @Churg: Acton. WRB BRZ 3. @Hyper4mance2k: Lancaster. DGM BRZ 4. @R2RO: Palmdale. 10 Series FR-S 6MT 5. @frsjon: Palmdale. Whiteout FRS 6. @darheyster: Palmdale. Whiteout FRS 7. @Justin91M: EAFB. FRS 8. @blugbox: Lancaster. Raven FRS 9. @ohnoitsthefuzz: Palmdale. Raven FRS 10. @gsrmn: Palmdale Whiteout FRS 11. @elekidcircus: Palmdale. Silver FRS |

I like it! This was a good idea, definitely. :w00t:
I work in Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village, live in Acton. I'm in Palmdale all the time, and I pass through Valencia/SCV every day Mon-Fri. I am gone most weekends, whether it's going to the local AutoX events, or driving out of town for whatever weekends. But I do have one open occasionally. If any of the 86 guys are interested in AutoX, you should definitely come! It's a ton of fun. Next event is the 7th/8th in Irvine, I caravan with an STi and an Abarth, and the occasional newcomer. Saturdays are practice days, and the 7th is already full, but there is no limit to the amount of people that can go on Sundays, but you get less runs, and it's cheaper. After this upcoming event, next one is 5th/6th of July. |
If you made the meet location in Valencia you prob get some valley guys to come up?
Maybe Palmdale? |

The upside for either location is that you can get there driving through one of the canyons...which is always fun.
I'm open to either. Ideally, I'd like to find an existing meet and just join in. At least until there's enough folks attending to make it worthwhile to have our own meet. |

Standard rules. No revving, burnouts, anything that the police would give you trouble for. It has been going on for a while and I think they are finally starting back up because of the weather. Just drop in and look at some cars. |

I live in Lancaster... Kinda. I'm there about 2-3 days a week. I used to organize a weekly Mazda meet in Palmdale at Cycle Gear. It grew to 5 cars...
AV is dead, unless you own a Honda or a hot rod. |
we also got a valley meet going on near northridge if ever interested! Every Wednesdays from 9pm
