Got bored, made this...
Sup guys,
Here's my little project for the day. I didn't like the exposed intercooler piping and couplers so I made custom covers. I ordered Carbign Craft 12x12 CF plates which I cut to fit, drilled a couple of holes and bolted them to the bumper support bar. As a bonus they turned out to be a great mounting place for the apr splitter rods. Pretty cool I think! http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/cfplates.png http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/x.../cfplates2.png |
Well that's freaking cool!

im about to do the same thing on my frs just for the purpose of making the air go through my radiator instead of around it. Can you post a picture of how you mounted it?
|
I sure don't mind it

Very nice. I can see this as a production item.

Looks really clean! Well done sir.

What did you use to cut the carbon? Pics of it with the bumper off? I have the kraftwerks kit and would like to do something similar.

very nicely done man... and the best part is you didn't have to drill out your bumper for those splitter support rods

Good looks!

Love it! Awesome DIY!

Only thing I see, would be if the insides were angled in towards the intercooler so they sat flush, creating a scoop-like effect. As opposed to being flat.
Very cool though, great location for the splitter rods. Looks clean! |
