In v1.60, we have made the following changes:

-Added support for A01F ROM
-Extensively revised Stage 1 mapping (new MAF scaling, new fuel mapping, new ignition mapping, tweaked VVT mapping)
-Revised Stage 2 (revised ignition mapping)
-Added both 91 an 93 oct map variants
-No changes to E85 maps at this time.

By the time the v1.60 maps are released, there may be a few more changes. But that is all for now :)

Thanks for your work.

For those of us with 98 RON fuel (no ethanol), should we use 91 or 93 maps? What are the primary differences?

will we have to wait for a .bin release of 1.6? have 700c still and cant use the .dev file.

And what about maps for 700G series ?

I mean for Crawford BPB .

And what about BPB + Vortech Kit .

Thank you :)

Do you have both? There's not much to gain from the BPB if you have a Vortech kit installed. Does your experience differ?

98 is equivalent to 94 AKI, so I would run the 93 map. I'm assuming the 93 is more aggressive and runs more advanced timing.

a quote from shiv about the BPB and Phantom, but I assume the same results with any Force Induction application.

"Shiv:
Anyway, tested the BPB yesterday with both the Phantom and NA (full bolt on- OFH + Custom bat-back) set ups. With a tank full of 93oct. With the Phantom, it doesn't look like a good match. Lost power just about everywhere. It didn't look promising so I didn't bother with custom tuning with the BPBs. I will probably give it a try when more time permits though. But these results make sense as more airflow would suggest shortening the runners are the way to go."

Hi Shiv,

I'm running a modified Stage 1 700G map (for Australian fuels). Working awesome!

Just FYI:

Pretty sure shiv said that with E85 and the BPB's there wasn't much gains to be had. Looking for the quote now.

Yes, BPB and E85 isn't a really good match since the BPB take away from top end power (above 6500rpm). And that is were E85 maps really shine!

You aren't kidding. I have been paying very specific attention to my driving and the performance of the car since I am going to be racing at the Wicked Big Meet on the 8th and I feel two distinct (but small) bumps in power. One where the cam phasing is and one higher up at the top. I am more focused on the feel than the numbers though.

@shiv,

Would you be able to provide any insight into this please.

Thanks.

@shiv@vishnu is the v1.60 that you put in your first post good to download? I'm just getting ready to got to stage 2 UEL on 91oct so would that be my most up to date tune?

That's just a log of the 1.60 tune.
