RPF1 17x8.5 ET40 anyone?

Anyone running the RPF1 in 17x8.5 ET40 I see listed at Oakos?

I asked them a while back and I'm almost positive its an old listing and they aren't being made.

I just checked my PM's, Oakos said they werent made in 5x100 anymore, its possible they made a batch again but I would confirm with them as their website may have bad info regarding these..

If they make them I would be down to get a set since thats the perfect size imo..

Yes I asked for info a couple of days ago, and they responded with a price shipped, and they stated in stock. They didn't realize I'm in Canada so I have asked for that to be taken into account before I think about ordering.

Their website when I last checked though said available to order, which is why I sent the request in the first place to find out how soon they would be available.

Let us know if they have colors other than matte black too. 17x8.5" et40 is just about perfect fitment for this car.

Only available in Silver

Found some pics of the 17x8.5 et40 on NASIOC - bummer, they don't seem to be as flat-faced as the 9" variety.

hmm... tough call... its between these and 17x9 ET35, these will be cheaper even with driving across the border to get them. (and claiming them for customs etc)

I prefer the dimensions of these, just wish they were 'flatter faced'..

How crazy would it be to get the ET35 9" and get machined 5mm to make them ET40? Silly expensive? Unsafe? These would be for track duty and DD duties.

I think you would be safer going with 17x9 et45 and adding a 5mm spacer + longer studs.
