Confused.. But pleased
So I got the v1 catback and put on my borla uel header (car sounds like a beast) but I was expecting a code.. Bought a scanner to clear it and everything... It's been about 3-4 weeks and I've done a lot of driving.. No code. Any guesses as to why?

LOL...
It will take some time to throw a code, the time varies on the vehicle. I ran my UEL for a week before my OFT arrived and I threw a code 3 days after install. Its weird, but you will most likely throw one. |

If it's anything similar to the tpms sensor, the length of driving each time you start your car may also be a factor.

Some people just never stop thinking with the little head. |
The cat efficiency gets checked when on a constant, high-load drive. The most often case for this is cruise control on the highway at 65+ mph. That's the only time my UEL ever sets off a code. As I normally never drive on the highway, I've only had it happen twice since I installed them in January. Both when going home to see family.

The pathetic thing is that even knowing that's what they're up to doesn't help us. All we can do is hope they don't abuse the power. LOL |
