Expanding foam in rear deck
I dropped a 10" JL sub and powered it with a 300w cheap amp in the trunk. Sub sounds fine and just about everything is nice and tight except for the rear deck, at high volume it constantly rattles, and on the lower notes it rattles even with the volume super low (5-15). Digging around I noticed the previous owner must have removed the rear deck like an idiot because 2 of the 4 white clips seem to be missing or broken.
Rather than pulling it apart and replacing clips, you guys think it'd be safe to just tape up all the holes and shoot some expanding foam in there to tighten everything up? I dont plan to ever remove the deck seeing as theres no speakers in it to replace, nor do i plan on getting tint, so having it be a bitch to remove isn't really an issue. The only thing I'm concerned about is any wiring that might need to be accessed in the future that would be in there.
TLDR Is it safe to shoot some expanding foam under the rear deck?
