I tried searching the forums but did not get good results. i'm planning to but an frs. i'll try to look around and test drive this weekend. what's a good out the door price for a 2014 base model? if there is a thread regarding this, i apologize and please point me to that link. i have read this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...?t=7836&page=2 but looking for a more recent out the door price. thanks

I paid 23,500 for my 13 Manuel with LED and a trunk liner options in October 2013 if that helps.

I've got a BRZ, but I paid $25,400 without any negotiating. This was back in April. I would guess you could pick up a base FRS for $22,500-23k if you look hard.

The only difference in negotiating power between threads that only had the '13 is that the initial demand has abated and the rise in MSRP (which will be eliminated for the '15).

Thanks for the replies. i saw one on the lot for $25,500 for a 2014 base model A/T. i was asking for the out the door price but she was hesitant to give me a quote. she said that's the sales manager's department so i left my contact info and told her to email me the price.

They won't tell you that because they're going to try and sell you bullshit maintenance and warranties and stickers and some bullshit dealer fees under the lame excuse 'we have to eat too'.

Tax Title License is determined by your state government and should be easy to find.

I paid 30 out the door in 2012, but I got the extended warranty, extended maintenance plan, and gap insurance as well...

Okay now I don't feel as stupid. At first I thought I was an idiot who overpaid at $27,000, but then I forgot to factor in all the extended warranty and protection plans that I purchased. :bonk:

Or just don't feel like going to other dealerships.

I went to one dealership and paid 2300 less than the "sticker pure price" it's not about shopping around if you already know what you want to pay and do 5 minuets of research online.

So was that under the base listed price (~$25k) or was that the list price of add-ons or warranty? Of course I assume you're counting out the door since that is the topic at hand.
