Aussie release date - Motor Magazine Australia June 2012
 

Hey guys,
long time lurker here, first time poster. Please excuse if there is already a thread for this but I have tried doing a search :) I was at the local grocery store the other day looking for the June edition of wheels magazine for the spread on the 86 and the Cayman, I came across this in Motor Magazine June edition as I was flicking through it. Don't know if it's confirmed so please take with a grain of salt :)

Toyota 86: June 5th
Subaru BRZ: Follows in July

not long now... The 5th of June will be the price date in my opinion...

My doubts are high the dealers haven't had their training yet so why release pricing and the dealers have no clue about the car...

i thought training was on the 4th of June. They will probably be told the RRP at the end of the day, then all celebrate because it is so much less than they thought it would be. then the press will inform AU on the 5th. I think we will be told by one of those sales peeps on the night he finds out.
