Coilovers + Dealer car wash = fail?

Has anyone had their car lowered and been able to get a dealer car wash after service?

Never. Ever. Get a dealer car wash.

If there is one thing I learned from owning a brand new car, is this.

One dealer car wash = $400+ in paint correction, no question. Unless you don't care much for the paint, avoid at all costs.

Preferably touchless. Even better in your own driveway/parking space. Microfiber sponges and towels.

You can wipe it down with a diaper afterwards, but then you may end up with some low-lifes joyriding around Chicago in it when your kid plays hooky and "borrows" it for the day.

No way, I can't even get in a normal bay for an oil change since being lowered now. Plus I enjoy washing my own car when it's 90 degrees out

I have a standing order with my service guy for them to not touch my car. The guy even made a sign that says "DO NOT WASH" in huge letters lol.

They did the same thing the last time I took my car in for service. I thanked the service adviser as she taped the sign on the dash.

I made my own sign, some laugh at it but you gotta do what you gotta do.

My detail guy even told me to make one is Spanish lol. Great idea, but I didn't go that far...
