Ultramarine in the Desert (huge photos)
 

Sooo, now that I've got the car professionally detailed I think its due time that I start a real log before any major changes are done to the car.
Its an Ultramarine 6MT, car #500!

Currently working with AIRAID in Phoenix to develop a cold air intake. Dyno testing to be posted as soon as the project has been completed.

No concrete plans yet other than to get the production model airaid intake once its completed, and then figure out which exhaust to get.

hows your radio reception without the antenna ?

First time seeing pictures of this color in the sun, now I see the purple that shows in just the right light. I still love the color, and it's the one I ordered for the BRZ!

Silly question, but do you know Ultramarine blue is not the same as World Rally Blue on the BRZ?

Yeah I just realized now that the BRZ's in the states are allowed to order the same Ultramarine as seen on the FR-S.

Here in Canada, us poor bastards only get 3 colours for the BRZ and Galaxy Blue Silica is not one of them.

I tried to not edit the photos too much, so the colours you see are as close as I could get to the real-world colour shift with the ultramarine/galaxy blue paint. Realistically the car always looks different to my eye which is one of the things I like most about it.
