Looks like a beast to me. I daily drove an srt8 challenger for a bit and they are definitely fast cars.

Perfect.

I always have wanted American muscle. Yet I am always drawn to Japanese cars with 4 bangers. Still seems like a sweet ride. I think the Challenger looks better than the Charger.

the current csrt8 shifts like junk. VERY notchy/noisey.

first supercharged vehicle we have ever made IIRC

the headlight has a functional ram air too?

The automatics or manuals?

The 5 speed or 6 speed?

Its a Hellcat, not Hemicat, lol

I for one am stoked for the new engine. I work at a Dodge dealership, so I may be abit biased.

Had a 2013 SRT8 Challenger...and I loved it.

When my 95 4Runner died...I traded in the Challenger for my new 4Runner...

This car makes me consider getting another Challenger.

The "regular" SRT8 was fast and had gobs of power.

Certainly not light on its feet and not a true pony car. It is a muscle car...

Very comfortable ride though, sadly you would be doing well into triple digits without noticing...so could cause expensive tickets.

What I mean is, there was very little sensation of speed. It was so smooth and quiet, you would just blast up to 100 mph in 3rd gear and not really notice.

Still, great looking car and I miss mine.

I love it. Buddy of mine has a 300C SRT8 and those SRT8 cars are so fast no matter what. Can't imagine what 200 or so more HP will feel like.

well, not to be a ****, but I don't thin automatics can be notchy?

the auto(nag trans) is probably the best trans we have ever made(or Daimler for that matter)

This new one has a viper transmission to deal with the 600+ hp. Correct about the first supercharged vehicle from factory, also has the most hp out of a factory V8. Correct about the headlight also having air inlet.

I like that it comes with 2 keyfobs. Black for daily driving, and Red for burning rubber. I also like that it has the valet feature that limits RPMs, no 1st gear, etc. This thing is a beast no doubt.

First supercharged? What about the Cadillac ctsv? Corvette zr1? Mustang? Or do you mean first supercharged dodge?

It has as much hp as my first 4 cars combined. That's fun!

The problem with the challenger isn't the engine output currently IMO.. it's the subpar quality in materials and workmanship, the shit suspension, the OK brakes and the weight.

The ones I've driven I have disliked, but it never had to do with the engine.
