No worries. Wanted to make it clickable.

Hope they toss it on the dyno in a few 100 miles, that should yield some nice figures with that kind of break in :)

fang_gt86 05-20-2014 05:14 PM

I missed a few of these procedures during my break-in...

Are you suggesting that breaking in a certain way reduces HP/torque output?

Zardoman 05-21-2014 12:37 AM

good thing he's not selling it anytime soon, i hope?

I'm suggesting that the car loves a thrashing for a break in. I have broken in two of them now. One by the book and one a bit more subtle than above.

Thrashing it during break in makes the car feel faster and more responsive down the line.

Not sure how good it is for the engine in the long run, but it does produce results.

This is pretty cool because it shows how much the car is capable of right out of the box. And it's pretty crazy.

Now that should be the Epic FRS commercial and not that god awful trash explosion laden one Scion made.

ZOMFGAARON 05-21-2014 10:32 PM

Why dont I believe this?
Maybe it's because he has plates with tags on them. Do some states provide these at purchase

I hate those commercials so much. I don't get why they needed to advertise in such a terrible way it degrades the coolness of the car in my opinion. Just another reason I'm glad I chose the BRZ...
