Full Car Computer Released at E3io
http://e3io.com/custom-computers-car-pc
I've been watching this company for awhile now and knew they were coming out with a capacitive screen. But its only 800x480 screen resolution, which I believe is way behind the times but equivalent to all other commercially available plug/play options. Has anyone ever had or currently have one of these? Off the top of your head, does anyone know the depth of our stock headunits? Cheers, |
If you check, they do offer an option for 1080p. It's basically a mini-ITX computer in a dual-din format. I think it could fit, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong. But this looks awesome as fuck! I need this in my life :eyebulge:

Saw at least one deal breaker.

To get capacitive, you need to get rid of the buttons? Oh man :'(
|
Not only that, but no 1080p at all, the screen is 800x480 pixels. The computer can resize everything as if the screen was 1080p but it is still only 800x480.
I'd be OK without having any buttons, but without the buttons the frame looks horrible. Nexus 7 builds look incredibly sexy because it's all glass. |
Not too bad. I've looked into building and installing a car PC, and still haven't decided.
