Did a tad of searching with no luck. Is the BRZ being built willy nilly and sent to the port where port distribution divies the "Premium in WRB with Manual tranny" to Memphis or are they built to order? My guess is willie nillie...

It appears that they're being built and then matched to existing orders. I remember reading of at least one member of these forums being skipped over but those before and after him in his dealer's allocation list receiving their cars; the only reason for that to happen would be if his car did not match one that had already been produced.

Thats been confirmed already. They are building X amount of cars. Shipping them, then assigning to orders in the system. What me off is that someones getting their BRZ before me, that ordered after me. Same color trim and transmission. I dont know how that came to be, but after bitchin like a 6th grade girl at the mall, i got a VIN and ETA a month after said person. No hate for anyone. But I have never seen a system work like this allocation system.
